Modern Studies

Pupils choosing to focus on Modern Studies will develop analytical, reasoning and communication skills. A variety of contexts will be studied including aspects of modern daily life in Scotland, the UK as well as the wider world. This will broaden and deepen understanding of social issues such as the political system in the UK; the causes and impact of crime and the causes and impact of poverty.
